This lit a spark within Umoja, as he took this advice literally and greatly improved his technique and styling abilities, consequently impacting his brother as well. Another of their great influences is Samvel Yervinyan, and Sayaka Katsuki, violinist with Yanni, and also the late, great, Jascha Heifetz who was one of the world's greatest violinist. They aspire to one day attain the exceptional level of these artists and perhaps even play alongside some of them, in the future.
Among Sons of Mystro future aspirations are attending Julliard School of Music for Umoja, further enhancing his exceptional musical abilities and for Malcolm, to attend University of Miami to study music production and the business side of music. Besides putting themselves in a position to someday play with many of the luminaries in the music fraternity, Sons of Mystro wants to give back to their community by teaching and influencing youngsters in society.
